Photos of Great EgretsClick on each photo for a larger view, (28K).These Great Egrets were photographed in Florida at a nesting rookery which also included Great Blue Herons, and Anhingas. The pairs display each time a male brings a stick for the nest, and this is sometimes followed by mating. Once the chicks are born, the parents feed them whole fish until the chicks fledge.
