These Great Blue Herons were photographed in Florida at a nesting rookery which also included Great Egrets, and Anhingas. The pairs display each time a mate brings a stick for the nest, and this is sometimes followed by mating. Once the chicks are born, the parents feed them whole fish until the chicks fledge.
